Robert D. Rodenhaber, 77, of Carlisle, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born September 21, 1948, in Harrisburg, PA, he was the son of the late Henry and Beatrice (Hurst) Rodenhaber. Robert was the devoted husband of Patti K. (Tyson) Rodenhaber, with whom he shared 41 wonderful years.

A proud graduate of John Harris High School, Class of 1966, Robert went on to serve his country in the U.S. Air Force. Following his military service, he dedicated his career to the U.S. Postal Service until his retirement. Robert was a member of VFW Post #7463 in New Bloomfield and the American Legion Post #340 in Duncannon. He was happiest when outdoors-whether hunting, fishing; or simply socializing with family and friends.

He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, warm heart, and the love and laughter he shared with those around him.

In addition to his wife Patti, he leaves behind his son, Robert Rodenhaber; his step-son, Charles Frederico; his 4 grandchildren, Julienne, Alex, Emily, and Robert; his 1 great-grandchild, Helena; his brothers, Herb (Gail) Rodenhaber, and Pete (Carole) Rodenhaber; his sisters, Reba (Louie) LaVia, Sue Huffer, and Evie (Dan) Lutz; his brother-in-law, Bill Tyson; his sisters-in-law, Janet Lytle and Ellen Tyson; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, George Rodenhaber.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Residential Hospice, 100 Sterling Pkwy #110, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
