Robert V. "Bob" Rowland

Robert V. Rowland of Shingle Springs, Ca. 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 16th, 2025 in Ventura, California. Robert, also known as Bob, was born to Eva and Joseph Rowland June 14th, 1938 in Bakersfield, Ca. They moved to Ventura where Bob grew up and attended Ventura High School. After serving in the United States Navy, Bob worked in the Operating Engineers Union as a heavy equipment operator for 40 years. Bob was especially skilled at running the backhoe tractor. He retired in Shingle Springs, Ca. in 1998 where he loved to hunt, fish, hike with his dog named Rocky and attend car shows with his hot rod.
Bob is survived by his Daughter, Cindy Wilson and her husband, Craig, of Ventura; his sons, Victor Perez of Ventura; Jesse Rowland of Ocala,Fl; granddaughter, Kiara Egan of Crescent City; grandsons, Joseph Rowland of Ventura; Joshua Rowland of Ventura; Stormy Perez and his wife Esther of Desert Hot Springs; His Sister, Marlene Cawelti of Bakersfield; great-grandsons, Joseph and Christopher Rowland; He is preceded in Death by his parents, and son Joseph Rowland.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday evening, August 14th from 5:30-8pm at the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 East Main St., Ventura, Ca. 9001 A funeral service will be held at the funeral Home on August 15th at 12:30pm followed by a procession and 2pm military honors at Ivy Lawn Cemetery,5400 Valentine Rd., Ventura, Ca. 93003.
