Robert worked in construction throughout his life and was a proud member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. He loved playing bingo, and spending time with his friends and family -who he loved dearly, and going fishing. Robert was a quiet man and found great peace by the water.
Robert passed away on April 12, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Rowton, Sr. and Ida Mae Rowton, 4 sisters, Lena Mae Haslerig, Maxine Harris Anderson, Margaret Jean Baldwin, and Alice Rowton, and one brother, Tommy Lee Rowton.
Those left to cherish Robert's memory, his sister, Ada Haywood (Joseph), and a host of nieces, nephews, and cherished family and friends.
Visitation for Mr. Rowton will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home, 2103 E. 3rd St., Tulsa, OK 74104.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 18, 2:00 p.m., at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Memorial Chapel followed by interment at Crown Hill Cemetery.
