LEE JAY ROWTON
Lee Jay Rowton was born March 9, 1964, to Sally Louise (Lewis) and Billy Lloyd Rowton in Choctaw, Okla. He passed from this life on April 5, 2025, at the age of 61.
Lee was a graduate of Marlow High School in the class of 1982. He married the love of his life Kimberly Harmon on May 29, 1999, in Duncan. Lee spent his career as a tool technician for Titan Oil Tools. He also spent his time working cattle and gardening. He was an avid deer hunter. Lee was a devoted Husband and Father who loved deeply and loved living life to the fullest.
In his free time Lee enjoyed riding his Harley with his brother-in-law Marcus Roberts. However, if he could spend his time doing anything, it would be spending time with his family and friends. He loved being a Papa to his numerous grandchildren.
Lee was preceded in death by his father, Billy Lloyd Rowton; and granddaughter, Ava LeiLani Robbins.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Rowton; sons, Jeffery Palmer and Shaimon Bruzewski; daughters, Tara Robbins and her husband Michael, Kasey Barnett and her husband Josh, Kennedy (Bruzewski) Getz and her husband Joseph; mother, Sally Rowton; sister, Tina Perry; grandchildren, Cody Walker, Jadyn Williams, Grady Palmer, Rowdy Palmer, Cooper Robbins, Noah Robbins, Gavin Atwell, Khloee Barnett, Kallie Barnett, Tucker Bruzewski, Emma Bruzewski, Maverick Smith, Stella Smith, Harper Getz, and Emberlyn Getz.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, April 10 at 2 p.m. at the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church with Johnny Tynes officiating. Interment will follow at the Lone Grove West Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at Craddock Funeral Home.
Rowdy Palmer, Gavin Atwell, Grady Palmer, Marcus Roberts, Josh Barnett and Michael Robbins will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Lee Black, Craig Harmon and Joseph Brandenburg.
