Robert "Bob" Walter Rudek, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2023, at the age of 74. Bob was born in Milwaukee, WI to Walter and Sophie Rudek (nee Komornicki) on July 9, 1949.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Patricia, his daughter Kimberly (Peter) Mundt, brother Gary, grandchildren Sophie and Oliver, and nephew Jeremy (Eva).
Bob is proceeded in death by his father Walter, mother Sophie, sisters Sharon and Joan, and brother James.
In Bob's younger years he enjoyed bowling, weightlifting, and spending time with friends. Bob proudly served his country as a medic in the US Army. After completing his service, he worked as a machinist at Allen Bradley (Rockwell Automation) and served as the Union President for UE Local 1111 until his retirement in 2008. He was dedicated to his family and loved them dearly. His favorite hobbies included fishing, cheering on the Packers and Brewers, and spending time with his family.
Bob's family would like to thank all of the wonderful staff at the Vince Lombardi cancer clinic for taking such good care of Bob during his time spent there.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hope House in Milwaukee in Bob's honor are appreciated.
A visitation to celebrate Bob's life will take place on Friday, January 5, 2023, from 12pm to 2pm with a service including military honors to follow at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (2228 N Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc).
Bob was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
