Robert Dean Rush

Robert Dean Rush, age 53, of London, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026.

He leaves behind his mother, Bonnie Rose Payne Rush of Somerset, KY; his stepmother, Linda Webb Rush of London, KY; three children, Justin Rush, Sarah Rush, Robert "Tyler" Rush, all of London, KY; two siblings, Steven Rush, Brad Rush, both of Somerset, KY; two granddaughters, Emma Kate Massey, Adrianna Rush; his nephew and niece, Isaiah Rush, Jade Rush; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Rush.

Robert was a beloved son, father, brother and friend who leaves behind many cherished memories and a legacy of laughter and love.

Robert had a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. He loved spending time outdoors, especially camping, where he could relax, unwind, and enjoy nature. Whether gathered around a campfire or taking in the quiet beauty of the woods, those moments brought him true happiness.

Robert could often be found watching programs on the Discovery Channel, fascinated by documentaries and shows that explored the world around him and the paranormal.

Robert will be remembered for his unique personality, his interests, and the time he shared with those who loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A funeral service honoring Robert Dean Rush will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Kenny Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Rush Cemetery in London, KY. The family will receive friends on Friday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour, also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
