Robert Bell Russell

Robert Bell Russell, 87 of North Salem, Indiana, peacefully passed away on June 1, 2025, at Hendricks Regional Health.

Robert was born on May 17, 1938, in Rogersville, Tennessee, son of the late Charles and Eula (Stapleton) Russell.He married Belva Kay (Meyers) Russell on December 29, 1957, in Belva's parents' home.

He was a master carpenter and a member of North Salem Christian Church for over 70 years.

Surviving are his daughters, Debbie (Bob Goldsmith) Moreland of North Salem and Kathy Russell of North Salem; his son, Dennis (Lora) Russell of Oklahoma; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and his siblings, Glenn (Jo), Betty (Bob), Chuck (Teresa), and Steve (Vickie).

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and siblings, Kyle, Don, and Jane.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025, at the North Salem Community Center, from 11am to 1pm. 

The funeral service will begin at the North Salem Community Center at 1pm, with Pastor John Gossett officiating.

Entombment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, North Salem, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to Fairview Cemetery.
