Bobby and I somehow came into possession of an old motorized bicycle 50 or more vyears ago. Instead of pumping up the tires or any other safety issues. we went right to getting iit running. Of course, then we have to ride it! After almost killing ourslves on the bike multiple times including a couple of close calls with a neighbor's car, we called it a day. But that was Bobby: willing to help, never missed a chance to have an adventure and a laugh or two. I also caught up with him in New Haven years later, where we had quite a few good times there, too. He will be missed by all of us.

How to even write a memory about Bob, there are just so many. Bob worked with us at my family's boatyard in Milford for many years. An incredibly skilled mechanic, he could figure out almost anything having to do with boats. But as with most employees, we became very good friends. Bob was someone you could count on to help you out in ANY situation, although the truth is that many of the situations were caused by Bob himself. He was the consummate jokester, coffee breaks were NEVER quiet or normal or sane when Bob was there. But when things got serious, Bob was always there to be a friend, no matter what. To Patty, Matthew and Michael and the rest of his family, my heart goes out to you. Your Dad was truly one of a kind. The world is a sadder place with him gone.

I met Bob at my last job. He was a jovial man who brightened the day with his friendly demeanor. He will be missed by many.

Though I only knew Bob briefly, I took an immediate liking to him. In life there are times when certain people seem to touch your heart in a special way. Bob was one of those people for me. I am truly saddened to hear of his passing and that I didn't get a chance to know him better. Love, prayers and condolences to his family.

Bobby always had a HUGE smile and a hug for me whenever we met, be it at Stewart's in Rosendale or the Stadium Diner in Kingston, or anywhere in between. My fondest memory of Bobby is my first birthday after my husband's passing, Bobby was in the diner where I was having lunch with some former school mates. Bobby stood in the dining room, sang Happy Birthday to me, and then gave me a big hug! It cheered me up, and yup! It made me SMILE! I will miss you always, Bobby. Your heart was as big as your smile!
