Robert E. Ryan

Ryan, Robert Edward, beloved husband and father passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025, in Miami, Florida, at the age of 71. He was born to the late Lila Fern and Ewell Deltz Ryan of HIaleah on March 3, 1953, in Coral Gables, Florida. He graduated from Hialeah High School, Class of 1971.
He spent his early days in Lake Butler, Florida, to be near his Ryan grandparents. Then lived in Devils Garden, Florida, before moving to Miami and HIaleah. He Met his wife, Nancy, at the Hialeah Roller Rink in 1969. Bob and Nancy had one son, Sean. He is survived by two sisters and a brother, several nieces and nephews: Deborah Jeanne; Harold Douglas (Geoffrey Mallory); Patricia Ann (Ryan); and brother Dennis Patrick (Chelsea, Kory) (pre-deceased).
Bob had many friends and will forever live in our hearts. He gave us many years blessed with laughter and left us with memories that will never be forgotten. He was an avid boater and fisherman and was always near the ocean. Bob served as the Controller of the Deering Estate Foundation and was instrumental in overseeing the financial aspeacts of the Deering Bay Seafood Festival each year. He was a member of Kendall United Methodist Church for over 30 years, the American Legion, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in the State of Florida. Before returning to college, he was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electricians.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th, at 11:00 a.m., at the Stanfill Funeral Home located at 10545 S. Dixie Highway, Miami, FL 33156. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donating to any charity of your choice.
