Theodore Johnson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sunset Cremations - Miami on Apr. 26, 2025.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Theodore (Teddy) Keith Johnson, 67, on March 14, 2025, at Mont Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach. He was born at Hialeah Hospital in Hialeah, Florida on February 1, 1957, where he spent his childhood and graduating from Hialeah High School in 1976. As a Thoroughbred, he served as football team captain and voted Prom King. Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp where he proudly served as Lance Corporal and Military Policeman at Paris Island where he stayed. He attained an Honorable Discharge while receiving the Good Conduct Medal, Rifle Sharpshooter Badge, and the Pistol Marksman Badge. After serving his country he entered the construction trade, spending many years as a plasterer in South Florida. Theodore is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Jeanne, his sister Susie Forrester, and his brother Christopher. He is survived by his son Theodore Jr (Teddy), his sisters Laura Jeanne Hernandez and Robin Johnson, brothers Thomas and Joseph Johnson, his cousins, nieces, and nephews. Teddy loved everything South Florida including the Marlins, the Dolphins, and the Miami Hurricanes. Teddy is remembered for his great sense of humor, his unfailing allegiance to the United States Marine Corp and his love for God the Father. Whom he now walks with, healed in a new body and wearing a different set of Dress Blues. Semper Fi, TK
