Robert Safin

Robert "Bob" Michael Safin, 74, of Cresco, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital Monroe. Born in East Stroudsburg, he was the son of Violet (Nauman) Safin and the late Michael Safin, Jr. In his early years Bob worked construction with his father and for various companies. He later went on to work for the Road Crew of Paradise Township where he then became the Road Master and retired after 29 years of service. Bob was a member of Pocono Mountain Volunteer Fire Company and The Moose Lodge of East Stroudsburg. Bob enjoyed camping, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He was known for his famous roast beef sandwiches that he shared through the years with the fire company members and friends.
Survivors: In addition to his mother, Violet; Bob will be lovingly remembered by his best friend and companion, Winona "Wendy" Whelpley; sons, Nicholas R. Safin and Bradley M. Safin and there mother, Debra (Matula) Safin; granddaughter, Brielle Summer Mazzella; brother, Keith Safin and his wife Kelly; sister, Beverly Weirich and her husband Kenny, as well as, many beloved nieces and nephews.
Services: Bob's family will receive friends and relatives from 4:00P.M. to 6:00P.M. on Friday, February 21, 2025 in the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco Pa 18326 where a celebration of life will take place at 6:00P.M.
