Robert Samuelson

Robert "Bert" John Samuelson, age 61, passed away at home surrounded by family on Monday April 17, 2023 in Keshena. He was born on April 24, 1961 to the late Barbara Grignon in Shawano. Bert worked as a carpenter and was extremely talented in his craft. He was always a hard worker. Bert enjoyed spending time at the casino as well as watching the Packers. He spent much of his past time fishing as well as swimming, especially on the Wolf River. His favorite spot however was Keshena Falls. Bert loved his family and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Bert is survived by: his children LaToya Samuelson, Tiera Cappelle, Cassandra Cappelle, Kevin Turney, Darwin Ponfil, and Victoria Lewis; his eight grandchildren; his 2 great-grandsons; his siblings David Samuelson, Robert "Bob" Samuelson, Keyo Drew, Jodi (Sam) Conigliaro, Jeremy Weso, and Rahji Weso; He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his mother Barbara Grignon and his siblings William "J.R." Smith and Barbara "Beaver" Grignon
A memorial gathering and celebration of life for Bert will be held at the Grignon Residence at N1256 Rainbow Rd. in Keshena on Wednesday April 19, 2023 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
