Robert J "Bob" Samuelson passed away July 20, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Bennie & Merle (Warner) Samuelson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Jan (Harris) Samuelson. His daughters, Stacey (Jeff) Davis, Lesa (Dennis) Madvig, Kelli Samuelson, granddaughters Quinn (Nathan) Henry, Sydney Davis, and honorary Daughter Denise Carrothers along with many cousins and "bonus kids".

Bob was born on Dec. 9th. 1945 in Minneapolis, MN to Bennie and Merle (Warner) Samuelson. He lost his parents at a young age and was raised by his grandparents Joe and Bertha Warner.

Bob married the love of his life on Sept. 27th 1966. They moved to Brainerd, MN and raised their 3 daughters along with numerous "bonus kids". Their house was always full of extra kids or family that wanted or needed a safe place to spend a night or two. Everyone was welcome at the Samuelson house. Bob was a kind, understanding, and funny guy. He always had time to listen, help or fix anyone or anything that needed it. Bob enjoyed fishing, camping, and bowling (both for himself and coaching Junior leagues all day Saturdays). He also loved spending time with the many rescued dogs and cats who were lucky enough to have crossed his path along the way.

However you knew him......Robert, Bob, Bobby Joe, Red or Dad.....He will be greatly missed.
