Robert Lee Sandifer Sr.

Mr. Robert Lee Sandifer was born to the late Elder Louis and Mary Sandifer on November 23, 1951 in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Robert obtained his education in Hayti, Missouri. After obtaining his education in the Hayti School System, he later joined the Job Corp. Robert and his brother Joe moved to Toledo, Ohio. The two brothers obtained employment with the Jeep Corporation. After 40 years Robert retired from Jeep.
He married the love of his life, Ms Valerie Foster and to this union three children were born. Robert and Valerie were together 40 pls years. Robert was the life of the party and he never met a stranger.
Robert was a devoted family man. Robert was an Ordained Elder under the leadership of Pastor John Hobbs. He accepted the Lord at an early age at Faith Temple COGIC under Elder John Lofton. Robert was an avid fisher of men. He enjoyed his music.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Valerie Foster Sandifer; parents, Elder Louis and Mother Mary Sandifer; brothers, Louis, Joe, Leon, James, and Audie; sisters, Louise, Fannie and Lemona.
Robert leaves to cherish his memories, Joyce Townsend, Stella Bunch Crosby, Robert (Lorne), Alajanon, Cierra, Brandon Sandifer; 7 grandchildren, 4 sisters, Rosie (Walter) Murphy, Irene Middle, Mary (Greg) White, Shirley Windmon, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
