Robert L. Sanfacon, 83, resident of Amherst NH, died on October 28,2024 at Crestwood Center, Milford, after a period of declining health.
Bob was born on May 7, 1941, in Amesbury MA, a son of the late Eugene and Rose (St. Germoine) Sanfacon.
Bob attended Northeastern University and worked for many years as a comptroller for Digital Equipment Corporation. Working at Digital gave Bob the opportunity to travel, which he greatly enjoyed.
He married Marilyn (Ward) and they have made their home in Amherst since 1976. In town, Bob enjoyed playing and coaching sports.
Fishing was always a favorite. Heading to the ocean made for a good day. Bob greatly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed everyday.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his twin sister, Roberta.
Survivors include wife, Marilyn Sanfacon of Amherst NH, chiIdren, Gregory ond Deanna Sanfacon of Houston Texas, Jeffrey Sanfacon of Amesbury MA, Kristie ond Bobby Gray of Mont Vernon NH, brother, Denis ond Sandy Sanfacon of Kingston NH, brother-in-law Albin Mellon of Amesbury MA, sister-in-law Kathy & Doug McNamara of Derry NH, three grandchildren, Kendall Sanfacon, Axel Gray, Abbey Gray and many nieces, nephews ond cousins.
Services: In accordance with his wishes there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 11 AM In Meadowview Cemetery, Foundry St, Amherst NH. All are invited to meet at the cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Massachusetts in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert, can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
