Robert L. Scartozzi

Robert L. Scartozzi, 89, of Wayne, formerly of Clifton, passed away on February 9, 2023. Born and raised in Brooklyn he lived in Clifton before settling in Wayne. Before retiring Robert was a salesman for Metropolitan Life, a truck driver for Yellow Freight in Carlstadt, a member of Teamster's Locals 560, 641, and 707, and was formerly a member of the International Longshoreman's Association. Robert was an animal lover and an avid supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriners International, the Philadelphia Children's Hospital, and the Franciscan Friars in Manhattan. Loving husband of Edythe (nee Cassella). Devoted grandfather of Robert A. Scartozzi. Predeceased by his beloved children Robert J. Scartozzi and Lisa M. Scartozzi. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday 12:00 PM at Di Chiara Funeral Home, 300 Main St., Lodi then to Our Lady of Mt. Virgin R.C. Church for a 1:00 PM Funeral Mass. Interment to follow at Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes. Visitation Monday 7:00-9:00 PM.
