Carol and Peggy,
We were so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. We have lots of memories of them--nursing, golfing, St. John's, family, the hardware store--on and on. We will miss seeing him for sure.
Sincerely,
Molly Rumberger Schwartz and Ed Olsen

Please accept my sincerest and humbled condolences to your family. Thank you for sharing your father/grandfather with the rest of us fortunate to know him. The world is a much better place for having such an amazing man touch each of our lives. Thank you for his service to this great nation. As a fellow veteran, I salute your father. I will always have amazing and enjoyable memories of working for your father/grandfather at Schaeffer's Hardware for several years as I was in high-school. Schaeffer's Hardware is one of many true icons of Bellefonte. He will be missed but never forgotten. Respectfully Jon

I was fortunate to have worked for Bob for 10 years. He shared his great wealth of hardware knowledge with me and I will be forever grateful. He was a kind and thoughtful man who would always help those less fortunate than himself. I send our deepest sympathies to the family and wish them comfort and peace.

Our deepest condolences to Margaret, Carol, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Schaeffer were a large part of my growing up at St. John's and in the downtown business community. Mr. Schaeffer exemplified a long life well lived. In celebration of an amazing life, Dad (Jim Park) and I send you peace and healing.
