Robert Erwin Schiering

Robert "Bob" E. Schiering, age 64, of Clarksville, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital on August 20, 2025. He was born on October 3, 1960, in Middletown, Ohio, the son of the late Robert A. and Shirley M. Schiering. Bob grew up in Middletown and graduated from Middletown High School. He went on to build a life rooted in hard work, loyalty, and love for his family. He was employed for many years with Kings Island and R.E. Middleton Construction, where he especially cherished his role in building roller coasters that continue to bring joy to thousands. Bob shared 35 wonderful years in Clarksville with his beloved wife, Shelley R. Schiering. Together, they raised their children, Charley (Brandon) Wayman and Mikolai R. Schiering, who will always treasure his humor, life lessons, and unwavering support. He is also survived by his brother, David W. (MaryRose) Schiering and his beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bob's passions included deer hunting, spending time outdoors, and listening to The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin. He will be remembered as a devoted husband and father, a man with a sharp wit and a big heart, and someone who never hesitated to lend a helping hand. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles 528 at 1300 1st Ave, Middletown, OH 45044 on October 11th from 5pm to 9pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Bob's memory.
