Robert “Bob” Schneiderhan, age 91, passed away February 23, 2026 at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Mankato, MN.

Bob was born on September 11, 1934 in Mankato, MN to Alfred & Delia (Rader) Schneiderhan. He graduated from Good Thunder High School in 1952. He was united in marriage to Carol Erickson of Rapidan on May 21, 1960 and together they raised four children.

Bob worked at Miller Motors early on and then worked for Taystee Bread as a Route Salesman for 36 years. He often bragged that in all his time there, he only took two sick days.

Camping was a lifelong hobby, creating many special memories with his family & friends over the years. He and his brother were also well known in the tractor pulling world for “The Tank” tractor they built wining over a hundred trophies.

Upon retirement, he enjoyed wintering in Arizona and then Texas. He loved driving the shuttle at the RGV Livestock show.

Summers were filled with taking his 1966 Pontiac Bonneville to car shows, where he won many awards. The highlight of his spring and late summer was attending the Pioneer Power Swap Meet & Show. He was considered a lifetime member and was honored in 2021.

He was an avid card player who sometimes shifted the rules to his advantage. He was always up for a game of Pfeffer and taught many people how to play over the years. He loved a good cup of coffee and often met up with friends, old & new, to solve the world’s problems.

He remained strong as an ox until the end.

He was a proud father and an even prouder grandfather & great-grandfather.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Carol, his children Thomas (Kim) Schneiderhan of Carver, MN, Alan (Maggie McDonnell) Schneiderhan of Covington, WA, Cheryl Schneiderhan of Seatlle, WA and Cynthia (Ryan Lachmiller) Schneiderhan of Rapidan, MN; his grandchildren Stanton, Jacob, Elena, Erin, Hanah, Hazel and Henry; great-grandchildren Luca, Jude & Stella, and his brother, Glen Schneiderhan.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred & Delia and his brother David Schneiderhan.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor his memory and legac
