Robert Schork Obituary
Born in Media, PA., he was the son of the late Edward J. and Mary Jane Whitmore Schork.
Robert was a graduate of Penncrest High School and Simon's Rock of Bard College; He was a Digital Editorial Director of the "Examiner".
Mr. Schork served as a NYPD Auxiliary Police Officer for thirty years. Robert worked early on at Soap Opera Magazine and attended the Daytime Emmy's, and event he always cherished.
Robert enjoyed vacationing in Cape Cod and had visited Iceland and studied in Turkey as a foreign college exchange student. He loved Jeopardy and he was a supporter of animal rescues.
Robert had a strong love of family and was especially proud Uncle and Godfather of Jennifer Martin.
He is survived by a Sister, Dollyne Bohn and a loving Brother-in-Law Harvey Bohn of Garnet Valley, PA, Niece, Jennifer (Nate) Martin of York, PA, and Grand Nephew Griffin. Nephew of Truman and Bernice Whitmore, special friends Kathei and Nick and many loving cousins.
He was predeceased by his beloved rescue Cats, Buffy and Miss Pickles.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the future.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any of the following in Memory of Robert: UC Davis Veterinary, a Local Animal Rescue/Shelter, Support the Brother and Sisters in Blue Programs, www.Metavivor.org
