Robert Matthew Schuckles Jr., 62, peacefully passed away on Thursday September 23rd, 2021 surrounded by his loving family after a two- and half-year battle with lung cancer.
Born on October 26, 1958, he was the son of Robert Schuckles Sr. and Marcella Davis. Robert married Cheryl Mueller on February 13th 1993 in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. They had one daughter, Samantha.
Robert is survived by his wife: Cheryl, daughter: Samantha, and sisters: Jane (David and Jake) Shannahan, and Joan (nephew Shaun) Leahy.
Robert had a love of fishing, fireworks, and target shooting. He will be fondly remembered for the elaborate fireworks shows he constructed on any occasion that deserved celebrating. He was a man of many words and his inquisitiveness always made people feel like he cared about them. Those who knew him will remember his sarcastic sense of humor as well as his love for life and family.
He will be greatly missed by all of those who loved him.
In his remembrance, donations to the American Cancer Society or the Cancer Research Institute are greatly appreciated.
