Robert E. Semler Jr., 65, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025. He was born on June 24, 1959, in Toledo, Ohio, to Robert E. Semler Sr. and Grace Semler, who lovingly survive him.
Robert was known for his mellow nature and quick wit. He had a warm, easygoing presence that made people feel at home-and a sense of humor that could lift any room.
He shared 21 years of marriage with his wife, Debra Semler (née Norris), whom he met while working at Specialty Windows in Pensacola, Florida. Debra fell in love with him on their very first date, and the two went on to build a life full of laughter, love, and unwavering companionship.
Robert found joy in the simple things-gardening, shooting pool, crabbing along the water, and relaxing with his beloved dogs, Romeo and Juliet. He had a soft spot for Mexican food and never missed a chance to enjoy Debra's homemade spaghetti.
He is also survived by many siblings and extended family who will forever cherish his gentle heart, his humor, and the peace he brought into their lives.
