Robert "Bob" Sextro, 78, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025, leaving only cherished memories with his family and friends.
Bob was born in Lynch, Nebraska to Harry and Marie Sextro. He served in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1967, including service in Vietnam. After his honorable service, he moved to Sioux City in 1968 where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. He shared 44 beautiful years with his beloved and devoted wife, Annie.
Bob is a very dedicated worker, retiring from Klinger Construction in 2002. He also worked 23 years maintaining the Golf Course, where he made long lasting friendships.
Bob is survived by his loving family, including his wife, Annie; a wonderful son, Ron and daughter in-law Debbie; Two brothers Bill and Dave; a niece, Susie Blatchford; nephew, Dean Sextro; and his beautiful grandchildren Brandon (Analy) Sextro and Kayla (Adam) Herfel; Four great grandchildren Tanner, Noah, Mason and Carson; and a good friend John.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Weber, Father Harry Sextro, and a nephew Donnie Sextro.
