Robert Shears Obituary
He was born October 13, 1941, in Kalamazoo, the son of Robert Romain Shears and Mary Naomi(Sims) Hurley.
Throughout his life, Robert and his family moved around quite often, from Michigan to Kentucky and back to Michigan. He was employed as a union bricklayer. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He really loved to take his boat out to Lake Michigan, where he enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his two sons, Keith (Connie) Shears and Kenneth (Sherry) Shears of Mattawan, two daughters, Kimberlee (Richard) Quinn and Deborah Shears, 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and his longtime companion, Hallie Alderson.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Shears, his son, Brian Shears and his sisters, Sandy and Denise.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no services at this time.
