ROBERT GEORGE "BOB" SHELLHORN, 67, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.
He was called by God to go into the Military. Bob spent his life serving God and proudly serving this great Nation, as he walked in his calling. He was a retired Sergeant for the U. S. Army and the Army National Guard. The years he spent in the Military, were some of the most interesting and some of the most important times to him. He was so thankful that he was able to make a difference.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Tomiko Shellhorn.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Karee Shellhorn and his beloved Red Doby, Betsy; his daughter Danielle Swager (Derek); his son Jacob Shellhorn (Laura); grandchildren, Dawson and Takara Swager and Hadlee and Delainee Shellhorn; his sisters Linda Fast (Ronald) and Peggy Casey (Wade) ; his brothers Joe Shellhorn (Ann), Kenny Shellhorn, Ron Shellhorn (Kourtney) and Ronnie Shellhorn; nephews Carter Shellhorn, Caleb Shellhorn, Joey Shellhorn, Drew Maddox, Kent Maddox, Kolson Maddox, Justin Fast, and Tanner Fast; nieces Emily Ingram (Paul), Kaitlyn Shellhorn, Ashley Sheets (Adam), Alexia Sheets, Ava Sheets, and Christian Sheets, Lin Gray, and Ezra Gray, Nikki Treanor (Travis), Austin Treanor, Collin Treanor, and Greyson Treanor, Anastaysia Mathis (Brandon), Mia Mathis, Amiyah Mathis, and Ruslana Fast.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 10600 Taylorsville Road, Jeffersontown, KY. with cremation to follow.
Visitation will be from Noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Robert George, please visit our floral store.
