With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Lee Shelton on October 16, 2025, at the age of 70. He was born in Nashville, TN on March 24, 1955.

Bob was the son of DJ and Sarah Shelton, who have preceded him in death. He leaves behind his half brother, Hap, his son and princess, Tyler and Jordan, his beloved ex-wife and best friend, Ann Clare, and her two sons, Jude and Zeus. In addition, Zeus's son, Charlie Quinn, will always be his special friend and was treated like his grandson.

Bob loved the big orange and made sure everybody knew it and cheered them on with all his heart. Bob's most treasured moments were spent with his family, around his friends, in the garage, at the race track, on the golf course, by the grill, or surrounded by his beloved dogs.

Bob had a good soul and cared deeply for everyone he met and even those he hadn't, especially the homeless and veterans. He also had a great sense of humor and loved to make his people laugh through his endless jokes and sarcasm. His family and friends will miss his big heart and personality that was larger than life, but he will be remembered by all that knew him.

Bob asked for a celebration of life to be held in lieu of a funeral or burial. Please join our family in honoring Bob and celebrating all of the great memories made with him at Joe's Place in Green Hills on November 1st, 2025 from 1pm-3pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Shriner's Hospital, or a homeless shelter of your choice.

Rest in peace, Bobby, and GO BIG ORANGE!
