Robert T. "Bobby" Sidebottom, age 77 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.  He was born on October 21, 1947 to the late William K and Edna Sidebottom. Bobby was retired from Harland Clarke. Although he contacted polio at a young age, he still managed to square dance, remodel or repair anything, and work in his yard. He was a poet and had several poems published. His fondest memories were on the beach, and so, his favorite color was blue.

In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by his brothers, William K. Sidebottom, Jr., (Henrietta), Ronald Sidebottom Sr., and Larry Sidebottom (Penny); and his nephews, Gregory Sidebottom (Phyllis) and Michael Sidebottom.

Bobby is survived by his brother, Roger (Cheryl); sister-in-law, Penny Sidebottom; his nephews, Steve, Ronnie Jr.; and his nieces, Sharon Carter (Bill), Lori McDowell (Dwayne), April Williams (Todd), Michelle Mondun, and Heather Simpson. Many great nephews and nieces also survive and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 2pm to 3pm on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243 with a celebration of Bobby's life there at 3pm.

Memorials may be made to the Friends of Metro Animal Services, Inc., 3528 Newburg Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218.
