Robert Edward Simmons Jr.

Robert Edward Simmons, Jr., age 68, of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, passed away on February 26, 2026. Born on October 1, 1957, in Brockton, Massachusetts, Robert lived a life defined by kindness, humor, faith, and deep connection with the people around him.

Robert had a gift for bringing joy to others. Known for his quick wit and love of telling jokes, he could make anyone laugh and left a lasting impression wherever he went. His warm personality and easy smile drew people in, turning acquaintances into lifelong friends.

Photography was one of Robert's greatest passions. Through his photo club, he not only captured beautiful moments behind the lens but also formed meaningful friendships that enriched his life. He found genuine happiness in sharing his creativity and celebrating the world through photographs.

Faith was also central to Robert's life. He loved his church deeply and often spoke about how grateful he was to have found a place where he truly felt at home. His church community brought him comfort, purpose, and lasting companionship.

Above all, Robert cherished his family. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Susan Simmons; his daughter, Rachel DiGiorgio, her husband Greg, and their children Anthony, Vincent, and Mia; and his son, Justin Simmons, his wife Mary, and their children Jayson and Ryder. He will also be deeply missed by many extended family members and countless friends throughout the community whose lives he touched with his humor, generosity, and caring spirit.

Visitation will be held on March 6, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life, both taking place at Calvary Church, 43 Mill Street, Wolfeboro, NH 03894.

Robert will be remembered for the laughter he shared, the friendships he built, and the love he gave so freely. His memory will live on in the stories told, the photographs preserved, and the many lives made brighter because he was part of them.
