Robert Sisco

Robert James "Bob" Sisco, of Blackwood, New Jersey, passed away on August 14, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on January 9, 1946, in Newark, New Jersey, Bob lived a life marked by dedication to his family, service to his country, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. Bob was a proud member of the United States Army and served in Vietnam, and had a long and steady career with NJ Bell-now Verizon-working as a splicer for over three decades before retiring at the age of 58. Bob was an avid surf fisherman, an enthusiastic gardener, and a faithful reader of The Philadelphia Inquirer who took pride in completing its crossword puzzles. He cherished vacations in Seaside Park, New Jersey, and enjoyed cycling and working on his vehicles. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Grace Sisco, and his brother Raymond Sisco. He is survived by his daughters, Jeannette Sisco and Rosalie (Aaron) Bouchey; grandchildren Kyle (Tyler) Sisco, Lily Bouchey, and Colleen Bouchey; and longtime friend Christina Read.
