After joining the United States Army from 1954-1956, Bob attended Widener P.M.C University where he received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He started his career with Johnson & Johnson and retired from DuPont in 2000.
Bob was a member of the IEEE, American Legion Post 18 and the DuPont Country Club where he spent most of his time enjoying golfing. He also enjoyed hunting and spending some relaxing time on the ranch in Towanda, PA.
Bob was survived by his wife Barbara of 63 years; his children, Mark Slaymaker (Bobbie Jo) & Donna Scorziello (Leonard); grandchildren, Carly McClure (Eugene) & Christopher and one great grandchild.
Bob is preceded by his parents, George & Mary Slaymaker along with his brother, George Jr.
Services for Bob will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations be made to the American Heart Association.
