Robert Smith Obituary
Born in Stroudsburg, he was the son of the late Harvey and Hattie (Custard) Smith and lived in Monroe County for most of his life.
He was a Korean War Veteran having served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955.
Robert worked for E.F. Possinger & Sons and at Rader's Mountain Springs Lake.
Surviving are four children, Roberta Smith of Kutztown, Judy Noggle of Wescosville, Susan Ferretti of Sciota and Robert Smith of Beaver Springs; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel (Pugh) Smith in 2005 and three sisters, Carrie Adams, Elizabeth Smith and Mary Johnson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7th at 1:00PM at The Salvation Army, 226 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg.

"A Korean War veteran has passed away today." Bob, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
