Robert Smith Obituary
A lifelong resident of North Bergen, Bob left this earthly realm at the age of 94 on December 6th, 2025. He leaves behind his wonderful, loving wife of 72 years, Elaine, along with two children Denise and Edward, a daughter-in-law, Noelle, and two grandchildren Edward Jr. and Christopher.
Bob was a communicant at our Lady of Fatima Church in North Bergen. He was employed at Con Edison of New York for 44 years. Bob was an Army veteran and a member of American Legion Post 33 in North Bergen. He was a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and the New Jersey Highway Traffic Safety Committee. He was a Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 60, Our Lady of Fatima, and a member of the Order of the Arrow, Elauwit Lodge.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Wounded Warrior Project (www.wondedwarriorproject.org) or Disabled American Veterans (www.DAV.org).
