Robert M. Snyder, 71, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025. Born on October 24, 1954, at Fort Ord Army Post in California, Robert was the son of Charles M. Snyder and Florence M. (Miller) Snyder. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Edward E. Snyder (stillborn). He is survived by his sons, Johnathan R. Snyder and Andrew T. Snyder, and his beloved granddaughter, Stella A. Snyder. He is also survived by his four brothers: Charles M. Jr., James M., Ronald M., and Louis M.
Robert leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, and an unwavering love for his country. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1985 to 1993 as a 29E Radio Repair Specialist and 91G Behavioral Science Specialist, stationed at McNair Kaserne in Hochst, West Germany and Fort Lewis, Washington. An expert marksman, Robert was always quick to remind others what that meant for the enemy.
