Robert Sonka Obituary
ROBERT E. SONKA
Robert E. Sonka, 65. Sturgeon, MO passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024, at the University of Missouri Hospital & Clinics in Columbia, MO. He was born September 13, 1959, the son of the late Edward “Gene” Sonka and Nina (Clever) Sonka.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter Andrea Sonka of St. Louis, MO; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, one brother preceded him in death.
Robert worked as a farmer and later for several factories in the area. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner’s, c/o Oliver Funeral Home, P.O. Box 125, Centralia, MO 65240. Condolences may also be made to the family at www.oliverfuneralhome.net
