Robert Sprinkle Jr.

Robert Sprinkle Jr, 70, of Fort Wayne, died Friday January 10, 2025 at Parkview Randallia Hospital. Bob was born in Huntington on March 9, 1954, the son of Barbara (Zezula) Sprinkle and the late Robert Sprinkle Sr. Bob earned a degree in engineering at Indiana Vocational Technical College, and served his country with honor in the US Marine Corps. In addition to his father, Bob was also preceded in death by his wife Sandy in 1999. He married his current wife, Lucia (Klingler) Sprinkle in 2003; she survives along with his children; Melody Meza and Robert Sprinkle III, both in California; Christopher Sprinkle and Colton Sprinkle, both of Fort Wayne; step-children, Nicholas Wroblewski, Misty Klingler, and Krista (Dallas) Recker, all of Fort Wayne; his mother, Barbara Sprinkle of Huntington; brothers, John (Linda) Sprinkle of Fort Wayne, Tom (Brenda) Sprinkle and Steve (Jackie) Sprinkle, both of Huntington; sisters, Mary Sprinkle of Huntington, Sue Degenkolb of Warsaw, Diana (Jerry) Hiday of Bluffton, Jean North of Fort Wayne, and 10 grandchildren.
Bob retired from the VA Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He was an avid sports fan, particularly the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana University. Bob cherished the time he spent with family & friends and especially enjoyed all of his grandchildren.
Bob will be laid to rest in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Family & friends are gathering at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. at 12:30pm on Saturday, February 1, 2015, followed by a Graveside Committal at 1:00pm with military honors.
