Robert Lee "Bob" Stamp was born July 21, 1932 in Boone County, Iowa, the youngest of 5 children born to Carl and Bertha (Heldt) Stamp. He passed away on September 13, 2025 in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

The family moved to the Longmont, CO area in 1936 and Bob graduated from Longmont High School in 1950. After service in the Air Force in Florida, he attended the University of Colorado graduating in 1955 with BS and MS degrees in Accounting and Finance. Bob met Carol Reuter at CU in 1954 and they married in 1956.

Bob was a practicing CPA for many years before going to work for Gates Rubber Co., retiring from Gates as the CFO. He was also very active in numerous accounting and financial organizations, the CU Business School Advisory Council and various Lutheran Church organizations and congregations.

Bob enjoyed golf, fishing, bridge and most importantly spending time with his kids and grandkids at the family cabin he built in Summit County, CO.

Bob was preceded in death by his siblings Pauline, Margaret and Norman. He is survived by his wife Carol, sister Virginia, sons Bob, Mike (Ellen), Barry (Cathy) and Dan (Dianna). Grandchildren David (Kalen), Megan (Yevgeniy), Jeff (Erin), Hilary (Chad), Tessa (Robert), Laura (Ben), Danny and Davina. Great-grandchildren Keelia, Belle, Pearl, Weston, Nolan, Lucy and Elonie along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

A service will be held on October 4, 2025 at Ascension Lutheran Church, Littleton, CO at 11 AM.

Memorials should be directed to Ascension Lutheran Church.

We wish to express our gratitude to the staff at Wind Crest and Mill Vista Lodge for the care given to Bob over the last 2 years.
