ROBERT BRYAN STEMPEL, 63, beloved husband of Barbara Stempel, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A native of Lancaster, CA, Robert was a son of Kathleen Vanderpool Dawson and the late Roger Stempel. He proudly served his country and was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a land surveyor for over 30 years. Robert was a member and current president of the Citadel Chapter of the Rough Riders Motorcycle Club, of which, he was a much-loved brother and mentor.
Surviving is his wife of 31 years, Barbara Stempel; two sons, Luke Spencer (De), Columbia, SC and Jeffrey Spencer (Alison), Charlotte, NC; his mother and stepfather, Kathleen Dawson (Ron), Johnson City, TN. In addition, he was the well-loved papa to his 5 grandchildren.
Plans for a memorial service will be announced at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Rough Riders Motorcycle Club for “Service Dogs for Vets” through Cash App at ($citadelrrmc) .
