Robert "Bob" Swayze Stewart, 68, of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on January 11,2026, surrounded by his loving family.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Bob's life was defined by kindness, laughter, and an unshakable love for people.

Born on February 10, 1957, in Jackson, Mississippi, Bob grew up with a deep appreciation for family and connection, values that would guide him throughout his life. After building a successful career including serving as an Assistant Vice President at HCA, Bob became known not only for his leadership but also for his mentorship-always ready to coach, encourage, and celebrate those around him.

For 46 years, Bob shared a profound and joyful marriage with his beloved wife, Glenda Thomas Stewart. Together, they built a home filled with love, humor, and devotion. He was an extraordinary father to Robert Joshua Stewart, Thomas Andrew Stewart, and Jessica Stewart Novoselov, and the proud grandfather of a cherished group of grandchildren who brought him endless joy.

Bob's passions reflected his zest for life. Whether playing baseball or golf, coaching his children or the numerous others who played under him, skiing down snowy slopes, spending sunny days at the beach, or simply enjoying the outdoors with his loved ones, Bob lived every moment fully and gratefully. He will be remembered by all who knew him as a genuine friend, a steady presence, and "everyone's favorite person."

A memorial service to honor Bob's life will be held at Sellars Funeral Home Mount Juliet, Tennessee, on Saturday, February 28,2026 at 1:00 p.m.
