Robert Stocklas Obituary
Robert N. Stocklas, Sr., 62, of Troy, entered into rest unexpectedly on February 13, 2023.
The son of the late John J. Stocklas, Jr. and Dorothy Mae (Sutton) Stocklas, Robert was born on March 6, 1960, in Albany, New York. He was a graduate of LaSalle Institute and has resided in the Capital Region his entire life.
For many years, Robert was employed as a mechanic at Miesner's in Colonie.
Survivors include his wife, Susan L. Cavanaugh, his children: Tammy Stocklas, Dale Cavanaugh, Kayla Stocklas, Andi-Lynn Cavanaugh, and Robert N. Stocklas, Jr.
Robert is also survived by his siblings: David Stocklas, Irene Carey, Mary Lou Parks, and Elizabeth Stocklas.
8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by siblings: John J. Stocklas III, Michael Stocklas, Joseph Stocklas, Andrew Stocklas and Dorothy Skaarup.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering in honor of Robert to be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, from 5-7PM in the Chapel of Simple Choices, Inc., 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) Troy, NY 12180.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I pray that God will give you strength and that you all will feel His presence and comfort in your time of bereavement.
Brother Bob was such a thoughtful and helpful person to me. I will miss serving with him as a greeter and our talks on the church's front porch
