Bob worked as a Chauffeur for Sears Roebuck & Company for more than 45 years. He enjoyed working with his hands and spending time on the family farm in Sandwich, IL. Bob spent much of his time with his family boating, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors in Minocqua, WI.
Visitation Wednesday, Aug. 21, 3-8 PM at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd. (3 Blks S. of Roosevelt) Lombard. Funeral Thursday, 10 AM at Messiah Lutheran Church, 130 W. Butterfield Rd. Elmhurst, IL 60126. Interment Private. In Lieu of flowers, memorials to Messiah Lutheran Church are appreciated. Funeral info: 630-932-1500 or www.knollcrest.net

One favorite memory is on Sunday mornings at the farm when Uncle Bob would play Frank Sinatra on the radio for Aunt Skip(love of his life ) or riding in his golf cart with Gladys sitting next to him. We will miss you greatly -Ray, Denise Joe & Patrick

Some of my favorite times with Bob and Skip were at their place in Minocqua Wisconsin. Riding on the pontoon boat and going out to dinners. Fun times with great people.

We love you & we will miss you,Ray,Denise, Joe & Patrick-Something´s we will always remember about our Uncle Bob is how much he loved his family, the farm (Gladys riding next to him on the golf cart always), a good meal , and shopping for good bargains. One happy memory is how on Sunday mornings Uncle Bob would play Frank Sinatra on WGN radio for Aunt Skip(the love of his life ) so she could enjoy this .
