Robert A. Stone Sr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Stone, Sr., age 76, beloved son of the late Fred and Betty Stone. Bob passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and an unforgettable collection of both treasured items and treasured friendships.
Robert Stone was a devoted partner to Linda Oblander and a loving father to Robert A. (Shauna Saylor) Stone II. He was a proud and caring stepfather to Jason (Melissa Marcinko) Novak and Melissa (Tony) Reagon. His role as grandfather brought him immense joy, and he adored his grandchildren: Ken Stone, Nora Stone (with their mother Patrica "Patsy" Haggerty), Jon (Rachel Schubert) Novak, Gabriella Novak, Alex Reagon and Jaclyn Reagon. He also leaves behind his cherished sister, Sue Reinker.
A man of many interests and deep passions, Bob was known for being a lifelong collector-not just of memorabilia, but of meaningful friendships. His home was a museum of stories and memories, each item with a tale worth telling.
Above all else, his heart belonged to the Corvette. He took great pride in his love for the iconic car, finding joy in every gleam of chrome and roar of the engine. Whether on the open road or parked at a local meet-up, Bob was in his element behind the wheel.
In his free time, he gave back selflessly, volunteering with Al-Anon and offering support and compassion to others walking the road of recovery. His presence was a comfort, his guidance steady and sincere.
Bob will be remembered for his generous spirit, his quick wit, jokes and the genuine warmth he extended to everyone he met. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family, his countless friends, and the stories shared over coffee, laughter, and the occasional Corvette cruise.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in his memory to Cleveland APL at clevelandapl.org.
A celebration of his life will be held at 7:30pm on Monday, July 21, 2025, at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 4334 Pearl Rd., Cleveland, OH 44109. Family will receive friends from 4:00pm until the time of the service.
