Robert Joe Strange was born September 18, 1953, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Joe and Roberta (Queton) Strange, and passed away January 7, 2026.
He grew up in Anadarko, Oklahoma, where he went to school and graduated in 1971. Robert worked as a taxi driver, served in the U.S. Marines, and loved hunting. He was very proud of his
Native American heritage and especially proud to be a member of the Kiowa Tribe.
Survivors include:
Children: Sean Strange and Taryn Strange
Siblings: Patricia Strange and Samuel Strange
4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his
parents, Joe Strange and Roberta (Queton) Strange; his brother, David Anthony Strange; and an infant sister.
