Robert Sulzer

Robert Edward Sulzer, age 56, of Las Vegas, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021. Robert was born April 17, 1964 in San Mateo, California. He is the loving son of William Joseph and Rosalia Sulzer.  He married Joan Marie Pierce on July 1, 1991 in Carson City, Nevada.  He met Joanie in 1986 and they were together over 35 years. He worked faithfully and fervently as  a Casino Floor Supervisor for the Mandalay Bay. He worked for the MGM company for over 30 years. This is a terrible loss for the Sulzer family and is a genuine loss for Mandalay Bay, the gaming community and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his wife: Joan Marie (Pierce) Sulzer: and children: Christa Johnson, Andrea McKeever (Sulzer) (Lance McKeever) and Hannah Sulzer. Robert was a doting Poppa and is survived by his wonderful grandchildren: Clara, Akira, Devin, Gabriella, Sienna, Liam and Athena.  Robert was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Angel. Robert is also survived by his endearing sister, Sherry Garcia (Sulzer). A memorial gathering will take place from 4-7pm on Friday January 15, 2021 at Kraft Sussman Funeral and Cremation Services, 3975 S. Durango Dr. Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV 89147. Family requests, due to COVID restrictions, only 20 people are allowed in the building at a given time. Everyone is encouraged to attend and share memories to celebrate his life and to share kind words with the family.
