Robert (Bob) Eric Sutherland of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas passed away on April 21, 2025. Born on August 5, 1962, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Bob was happiest spending time on the water when the fish were biting or in a room full of music singing his heart out. He especially enjoyed singing karaoke, often competing and walking away with the winning title.
He will be remembered for his feisty but funny spirit, infectious laugh and jokester personality, along with his love of nature and for his giving heart.
Bob was preceded in death by his grand-parents Alice and Vivien Vikre, and Harvey and May Sutherland as well as his father James R. Sutherland. He is survived by his two sons Cody Sutherland and Casey Sutherland, his mother Judy Jensen and stepfather Gilbert Jensen, along with his siblings: brother Jeff Sutherland, sister Tracee (Jensen) Holte, brother-in-law Devin Holte, sister Paula (Jensen) White, brother-in-law, Tom White, sister Kirsten (Jensen) Bransten and brother-in-law David Bransten as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bob’s spirit was unbreakable, his heart was wide open, and his memory will live on through the countless lives he touched, the songs he sang, and in all those who were lucky enough to have known him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, in Minnesota where Bob was born and raised.
