Robert F. Swisher Jr.

Robert F. Swisher, Jr., 82, of Lewistown, passed away on Monday November 20, 2023 at Embassy of Hearthside in State College.
Born October 20, 1941 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Robert F. Swisher, Sr., and Bernice (Clark) Swisher. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Kimbra Jo Clark, and infant sister, Roberta Swisher.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Lisa (Breon) Swisher, his son, Kurtis Swisher and wife Rhonda, of Lewistown, and step-son, Aaron Wilt, of Lewistown, grandchildren, Colton Swisher and wife Cortney, Courtney Swisher, and Cade Clark, and great-granddaughter, Eloise Swisher.
Bob served as a police officer in Granville Township for 27 years.
He was a member of Centre Union Church. In his free time, he loved hunting and fishing, and watching old westerns on tv. Earlier in life, enjoyed playing basketball, and tennis.
A memorial service in loving memory of Bob will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday December 2, 2023 at Centre Union Church, 200 Greenwood Ave, Yeagertown, with Rev. Kurtis Swisher officiating.
Interment will be private.
Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
