Robert Tanner Obituary
Rob was a native of Evans, Georgia, He graduated from Greenbrier High School and attended Augusta Technical College. Rob played soccer for the Augusta Arsenal Soccer Club during middle and high school. He was a member of West Acres Baptist Church. He was known for his great sense of humor, enjoyed vacations with the family at the beach, and his love of the Georgia Bulldogs. Rob was a loving and devoted father, son, uncle, and brother.
Family members include his daughter: Carli Pinion; parents Bobby and Susan Tanner; sister Meagan Runnels (Matt); nephew; Tanner and nieces; Hollis and Emma. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Peggy Hilton and Bob and Patsy Tanner.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Sons Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Road, Augusta GA 30907 (706) 364-8484.
