Robert Gregory Taylor

Robert Gregory Taylor, 62, of White Sulphur Springs passed away on December 31, 2025 at his residence following a long illness.
He was born May 4, 1963 in Hot Springs, VA. and was the son of Teresa Trent Vandevander of White Sulphur Springs and the late Robert Gray Taylor, Jr.
Robert a general handyman, having worked at the Greenbrier Hotel, then going on his own as a painter, roofer and drywaller. He had attended Wild Meadow Baptist Church and more recently the White Sulphur Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Other than his father he was preceded in death by his stepfather Huthan C. Chavis; grandson Duane Kennedy, Jr.; sister Carolyn Wolfe and a brother Larry Taylor.
Surviving are his wife Florence "Beth" Taylor; mother Teresa Trent Vandevander Chavis of White Sulphur Springs; son, Chris Casey; daughter Cheyenne Taylor of Clintonville; step daughters, Zettie Wolfe of Huntington, WV and Marissa Bailey (Joseph) of Wyoming County, WV; step son, Andre Wolfe at home; 30 grandchildren; 2great grandchildren; sisters Sharon Taylor of NC., Abbygale Sparks (Nathan) of White Sulphur Springs; brothers, Jerry Taylor of NCF., Rev. John Taylor (Tammy) of NC., Jimmy Buettner (Becky) of MD., John Chavis (Gloria) of MD., and Grady Chavis (Sherry) of MD., and brother in law Charlie Wolfe of PA.
Celebration of Life will be held in the near future.
