Robert Howard Teusch, 82 of Pinconning, Mi passed away peacefully on December 3, 2023 in Bay City, MI. Robert was born in Wabash, Indiana to the late Albert J. Teusch and Evangeline J. Wall on January 24, 1941. He married Helen C. DeYoung on April 3, 1971. He worked for Saginaw Steering gear for 33 years and he was a firefighter serving 25 on the Pinconning-Fraser Fire Department for 25 years. Robert was an avid fisherman for many years spending a lot of his retirement years hanging out at the Pinconning Park. He enjoyed many years camping with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his wife Helen, his dog Pippy, and sister Mary (Robert) Martin of Wabash, Indiana. His children Margaret (James) Scholfield of Alpharetta, Georgia, Cristian (Corinne) Teusch of Bay City, Mi. James (partner Kayla) of Rhodes, MI. Grandchildren Megan, James (Cory), Heather, Nicholas (Liz), Alex, Brantley and Maverick. Great Grandchildren Natalie, Hailee, Grayson and Taylor, Friends Leo Matthews, and Roger Currie. Robert is preceded in death by son Albert J Teusch, his parents Albert and Evangeline Teusch and siblings Helen, Katherine, Richard, Albert and Harold.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 12 noon from Holy Trinity Parish with Rev. Fr. Matthew Federico presiding with cremation to follow with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 pm until 7 pm. On Thursday, Bob will lie in state at the church from 11 am until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider donations to the family so they may purchase a bench to place out at the Pinconning Park in Bob's honor.
