Robert Todd of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025. Robert was born on April 16, 1963, in Lubbock, Texas to Eliseo and Frances Todd. He was 62 years old. His family is deeply saddened and devastated by his sudden death.
Nothing mattered more to Robert than his family. He was a loving son, father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by his son and daughter Keaton and Emma Todd, his granddaughter Paisley Todd, his siblings Sylvia Todd, LeRoy Todd, Norma Rankin, Katherine Crumbley and his nieces and nephews Alicia Rankin, Laura Rankin, Eric Todd, and Cameron Crumbley and his close extended family, Lori Grenier and Carol Dowell, who were an important part of his life. Robert had a long career as a craftsman in optical lens design.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents and his son Jeremy Berlanga.
Everyone loved Robert for his warmth, quick smile, his dry humor, and the way he could turn even a simple moment into something memorable with the perfect punchline.
“That’s messed up” was his signature saying, always delivered with the timing that made people laugh. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, spending time with friends, and enjoyed his Sunday night volleyball games. He loved his coffee bar and fancied himself a barista always trying to make the perfect cup of coffee! Above all, he cherished his children, valued his family, friends and the time he shared with them. He showed up for the people he loved, and he loved them dearly. He was taken too soon and will be greatly missed.
