Robert Tracy Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hare Funeral Home - New Lisbon on Feb. 5, 2026.
Robert M. Tracy Jr., age 56 of Baraboo, WI. passed away on January 30, 2026 at his home. Robert was the son of Robert Sr. and Sheila (Doller) Tracy and was born on April 10, 1969, in Wisconsin.

Robert's early years were spent in the nurturing community of Mauston, where he graduated from Mauston High School in 1987. His passion for music led him to Carthage College in Kenosha, where he pursued a double major in music, honing his talents and setting the stage for a life filled with harmony and rhythm.

He spent many years at SE Johnson in Racine. His entrepreneurial spirit shone through when he later co-owned Bourbon Legends bar in Kenosha, a venture that allowed him to blend his love for music with his business acumen.

Music was the heartbeat of Robert's life. In his younger years, he was the frontman of the bands, Twisted Fate and later, Scuzzlebutt, where he showcased his skills as a guitarist and singer. The band's performances in New Lisbon, Kenosha, Milwaukee, and Racine were always met with enthusiasm. Robert's musical talent was not limited to the guitar; he was also proficient in playing the trumpet, tuba, trombone, and piano, instruments that he played with both precision and soul. Robert also loved playing darts and watching sports, especially the Green Bay Packers. Amongst all Robert loved his boys Zachary and Nathan.

Robert's legacy is carried on by his loving children, Zachary Tracy and Nathan Carlton, both of Kenosha. He is also survived by his sister, Michelle (James) Bilz of Mauston; his stepfather, William Henkel of New Lisbon; his uncle, Edward (Jean) Doller of New Lisbon; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Payton Bilz, Ariana (Jeremiah) Bouchette, and Jocelyn Bilz. His life was enriched by the enduring friendship of Robert Malsack Jr. of Kenosha. Robert was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Roberts wishes, no services will be held. The Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon is assisting the family with arrangements.
